Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose and Scope

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") explains how Outreacher may and may not be used. It applies to all users, workspaces, members, connected Reddit accounts, and all content or activity performed through the Service, including monitoring, AI-assisted generation, messaging, notifications, and workspace controls.

This AUP supplements our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. If there is a conflict, Outreacher may enforce whichever policy is stricter for safety, legal compliance, and platform integrity.

2. Core Responsibilities

By using Outreacher, you agree to:

• • Follow all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction and your audience's jurisdiction
• • Comply with Reddit's Terms, Content Policy, and subreddit-specific rules at all times
• • Maintain truthful, non-deceptive communication and proper disclosure where required
• • Keep account credentials, connected account cookies, and workspace access secure
• • Review AI-generated responses before sending or posting

3. Prohibited Messaging and Outreach Conduct

You may not use Outreacher to:

• • Send spam, mass unsolicited outreach, repetitive templates, or low-relevance message blasts
• • Harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk, or otherwise abuse any person or community
• • Impersonate an individual, brand, or authority you are not authorized to represent
• • Promote scams, phishing, pyramid schemes, fraudulent offers, or deceptive conversion funnels
• • Create outreach designed to manipulate vulnerable users, minors, or protected populations
• • Encourage self-harm, violence, hate, or unlawful activity

4. Platform Integrity and Evasion Prohibitions

You must not attempt to bypass platform safeguards. Prohibited conduct includes:

• • Ban evasion, suspension evasion, or attempts to re-enter restricted communities using alternate accounts
• • Vote manipulation, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or brigading campaigns
• • Circumventing workspace tier limits, role permissions, or account restrictions
• • Circumventing rate limits, throttling behavior, or anti-abuse controls in Outreacher or Reddit
• • Using hidden workflows to mimic unauthorized scraping, crawling, or signal extraction

5. Connected Account and Credential Misuse

Connected account abuse is strictly prohibited. You may not:

• • Add Reddit cookies or credentials for accounts you do not own or control with permission
• • Share, transfer, sell, or lease connected account access to unauthorized parties
• • Use compromised credentials, stolen sessions, or bypass authentication controls
• • Continue sending through accounts flagged as banned, inactive, or invalid
• • Falsify account ownership, verification state, or account health information

6. AI Safety and Content Generation Rules

When using AI-assisted generation, you may not:

• • Use prompts to produce unlawful, abusive, exploitative, or policy-violating content
• • Automate sending without human review where review is required by your compliance obligations
• • Generate misleading claims, fabricated authority, or false endorsements
• • Use generated content to evade moderation, moderation logs, or community standards
• • Prompt models to disclose secrets, credentials, tokens, or non-public personal data

You remain fully responsible for all final content sent using Outreacher, whether drafted by AI or manually edited.

7. Data Use, Privacy, and Collection Restrictions

You may not use Outreacher data to:

• • Build shadow profiles or identity dossiers unrelated to legitimate outreach workflows
• • Harvest personal data in violation of privacy law, Reddit rules, or contractual obligations
• • Resell or redistribute monitored content where prohibited by law or platform policies
• • Infer or expose sensitive attributes (health, finance, legal status, etc.) without lawful basis
• • Combine Outreacher data with illicit datasets to enable targeting abuse

8. Security Abuse and System Interference

You may not:

• • Attempt unauthorized access to any workspace, account, API, internal service, or datastore
• • Reverse engineer, exploit vulnerabilities, or bypass authentication/authorization mechanisms
• • Launch denial-of-service, resource exhaustion, or queue-flooding behavior
• • Upload malware, malicious scripts, or payloads designed to compromise users or systems
• • Interfere with logs, alerts, audit data, or enforcement workflows

9. Fair Use of Service Resources

To protect all users, Outreacher may enforce operational fairness controls, including:

• • Tier-based quotas and object limits (members, subreddits, variants, accounts, blacklist entries)
• • Frequency floor enforcement for monitoring intervals
• • Tier gating for advanced features such as outreach generation and message sending
• • Temporary throttling when behavior appears abusive, unsafe, or unstable

10. Multi-User Workspace Governance

Workspace owners/admins are responsible for:

• • Assigning proper roles and limiting access based on job function
• • Revoking access promptly when team members leave or change responsibilities
• • Monitoring member behavior to prevent policy misuse by internal or external collaborators
• • Ensuring imported/exported workspace configurations are used lawfully and securely

11. Enforcement and Remedies

If we detect suspected abuse, we may take action without prior notice, including:

• • Content suppression, task suspension, or temporary feature restrictions
• • Removal of connected accounts, API access reduction, or workspace-level freezes
• • Account suspension or permanent termination
• • Preservation and disclosure of relevant records where legally required
• • Reporting to Reddit, payment providers, hosting providers, or law enforcement where appropriate

12. Reporting Violations

13. Policy Updates
